                  <s id="s.003818">IL luogo, nel quale ſi deue fabricare il Tempio, quando hauerà ſei parti di

                  lunghezza, leuandone una, ſi dia il reſtante alla larghezza: Ma la lunghezza ſia
                    <lb/>
                  partita in due parti, & la parte di dentro ſia diſegnata per gli ſpatij delle cel­
                    <lb/>
                  le: ma la uicina alla fronte ſia laſciata per porui ordinatamente le colonne. </s>

                  milmente diuiderai la larghezza in parti dieci. </s>
                  <s id="s.003820">di queſte ne darai tre allo ſpatio delle celle

                  minori, che ſono dalla deſtra, & dalla ſiniſtra, ouero le laſcierai doue deono eſſer le ali. </s>

                  <s id="s.003822">Lo ſpatio dinanzi le celle nello antitempio coſi

                  ſia diſegnato per le colonne, che quelle delle cantonate ſiano a dirimpetto de i pilaſtri
                    <lb/>
                  nelle ultime parti de i pareti. </s>
                  <s id="s.003823">Ma le due di mezo, che ſono incontra a i pareti, che ſono
                    <lb/>
                  tra i pilaſtri, & il mezo del Tempio, ſiano coſi diſtribuite, che tra i pilaſtri, & le prime co
                    <lb/>
                  lonne per mezo all' iſteſſa fila ne ſiano diſpoſte delle altre, & ſiano da piedi per la ſettima
                    <lb/>
                  parte dell' altezza loro; ma l'altezza per la terza parte della larghezza del Tempio. </s>

                  colonna riſtretta di ſopra, per un quarto della groſſezza da piedi. </s>
                  <s id="s.003825">Le ſpire ſiano alte per
                    <lb/>
                  la metà della groſſezza, & habbiano l'orlo fatto a ſeſta alto per la metà della loro groſſez­
                    <lb/>
                  za. </s>
                  <s id="s.003826">Ilbaſtone con l'apophigie, o cimbia groſſo quanto l'orlo. </s>
                  <s id="s.003827">l'altezza del capitello per

                  la metà della groſſezza, la larghezza dello Abaco quanto è la groſſezza da piedi della colon

                  na. partiſcaſi poi la groſſezza del capitello in tre parti. </s>

                    <lb/>
                  go dello Abaco, l'altra all' ouolo, la terza al collarino, con il ſuo tondino, & cimbia. </s>

                  pra le colonne ſi deono imponere le traui congiunte, & concatenate al pari, che riſeruino
                    <lb/>
                  quelli moduli nelle loro altezze, che ſaranno richieſte dalla grandezza dell' opera. </s>

                  ſte traui, che ſi hanno a legar inſieme ſiano di tanta groſſezza, quanto è il collarino della
                    <lb/>
                  colonna di ſopra. </s>
                  <s id="s.003831">& ſiano collegate in modo con chiaui, & trauerſi incaſtrati, che quel­
                    <lb/>
                  la incaſtratura tegni di ſpacio due dita larghe le traui. </s>
                  <s id="s.003832">Imperoche toccandoſi, & non ri­
                    <lb/>
                  ceuendo ſpiracolo di uento, ſi riſcaldano inſieme, & preſto ſi guaſtano: Ma ſopra le traui
                    <lb/>
                  & ſopra i pareti ſia il trapaſſo de i mutuli, che ſportino in fuori per uno quarto della groſ
                    <lb/>
                  ſezza della colonna, & nelle fronti loro dinanzi ſiano affiſsi gli ornamenti, che antepag­
                    <lb/>
                  menti ſi dicono. </s>
                  <s id="s.003833">& ſopra quelli il Timpano del frontiſpicio che ſia di ſtruttura, o di le­
                    <lb/>
                  gno: Ma ſopra quello frontiſpicio ſi deue ponere il colmello, o i canterij, o coſtali, & i
                    <lb/>
                  tempiali in modo, che il grondale riſponda alla terzera del tetto perfetto. </s>

                  Vitrunio eſpedito dalle fabriche, & maniere de' Greci, hora ſi uolge alle opere Toſcane. </s>

                  <s id="s.003836">Prima, che l'opera Dorica, è piu atta a ſoſtenere
                    <lb/>
                  i peſi appreſſo la Toſcana. </s>
                  <s id="s.003837">Sopra la Dorica, nel ſecondo ordine ſta la Ionica, & nel terzo la
                    <lb/>
                  Corinthia, come piu ornata, & dilicata, ad imitatione de gli alberi fatti dalla natura nel piedi
