                  gione di eſſe, accioche ci ſia noto la coſa ſignifi­

                  cata, & quella che ſignifica: La fabrica è il

                  diſcorſo, l'effetto, & la cagione delle coſe. </s>

                  è dubbio che ſe ad una ſemplice fune ſi attacca

                  un peſo, poniam caſo di mille libre, che tutta la

                  fatica & ſorza non ſia unit amente da quella

                  fune ſoſtenuta, che poi ſe la delta fune ſarà rad­
                    <lb/>
                  doppiata & a quella una taglia d'un raggio ap­
                    <lb/>
                  poſta doue penda quel peſo, che la fune non
                    <lb/>
                  ſia per hauer il doppio meno di fatica, & il
                    <lb/>
                  doppio meno di forza non baſti ad alzar quel
                    <lb/>
                  peſo: hor che ſarà poi, ſe ci ſaranno due taglie,
                    <lb/>
                  o piu? </s>

                  partirà quel peſo in piu parti? </s>

                  ditutto'l peſo, & dalla quarta parte della forza

                  di prima ſarà il detto peſo leuato: la doue ſe non

                  fuſſe la grauità delle funi, l'aſprezza de i rag­

                  gi, & la tardezza del moto per li molti ra­
                    <lb/>
                  uolgimenti della fune, che ſono i difetti non del­
                    <lb/>
                  la forma, ma della materia, un fanciullo pre­
                    <lb/>
                  ftamente alzarebbe un ſmiſurato peſo: ma dar
                    <lb/>
                  il ſapone alle funi, l'ugnere i raggi, il far be­
                    <lb/>
                  ne le taglie con i raggi dritti, l'acconciar i me­
                    <lb/>
                  nali, che non s'intrichino, o rodino inſieme, eſ­
                    <lb/>
                  ſendo i pernuzzi a miſura, & proportionati,
                    <lb/>
                  fanno ageuoli queſte fatiche, & tanto piu ſe
                    <lb/>
                  gli aggiugnemo i molinelli, che leuano la lor par
                    <lb/>
                  te del peſo, & della fatica, come il moltiplicar
                    <lb/>
                  delle taglie, & de i raggi, & queſti ancho piu
                    <lb/>
                  ageuolmente ſi muoueno, quanto le loro ſtan­
                    <lb/>
                  ghe ſono maggiori, perche la lunghezza ſi al­
                    <lb/>
                  lontana dal centro, che è immobile, & impe­
                    <lb/>
                  diſce il mouimento: & tanto ſia detto della ra­
                    <lb/>
                  gione delle taglie.
